#9046 Offset Cruciform Penetration Gage
The #9046 Offset Cruciform Penetration Gage is a precision inspection instrument designed to measure recess penetration depth for metric Torq-Set ribbed cruciform fasteners.
Manufactured in accordance with ISO 14277, ISO 14278, and ISO 7794 standards, the 9046 Series verifies proper recess depth and geometry conformity for international aerospace and industrial applications.
Offset Cruciform, commonly referred to as Torq-Set, utilizes a ribbed, offset cruciform geometry engineered to increase torque transmission and reduce cam-out under high-load assembly conditions.
Proper penetration depth is critical to ensure full driver engagement and structural integrity.
The 9046 Series utilizes a dial indicator based measurement system to determine recess penetration depth relative to the fastener head surface.
Available metric sizes:
9046-1.6 – M1.6
9046-2.0 – M2
9046-2.5 – M2.5
