The #9000 Type 1 Penetration Gage is a precision inspection tool designed to measure driver penetration depth in Phillips Type I and Type Z cross recess head screws.

Manufactured in compliance with ANSI B107.600 and ASME B18.6.4 / B18.6.5M standards, the 9000 Series verifies the depth of driver penetration into cross recess screws to ensure proper recess geometry and functional engagement.

This gage measures how far a standardized cross driver profile penetrates into the screw recess under controlled conditions.
