#2185 6-Lobe (TX) Receiving Inspection GO Gage
The #2185 6-Lobe (TX) Receiving Inspection GO Gage is an external configuration inspection gage designed to verify proper recess geometry in incoming fasteners.
Engineered for quality laboratories and receiving inspection departments, the 2185 Series confirms that the 6-lobe recess meets minimum acceptance requirements in accordance with TMF-801.1 and TXQ-801.1 standards.
Unlike production penetration gages, this configuration gage evaluates the overall drive interface geometry to ensure proper form, engagement capability, and acceptance compliance prior to release into production.
Each gage is heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide maximum wear resistance and long-term dimensional stability. All gage sizes are calibrated to specified tolerances and are traceable to NIST standards.
Ideal for:
Incoming inspection verification
Supplier quality control
Receiving dock validation
Lab-based geometry acceptance
ISO-compliant inspection systems
The 2185 Series ensures only conforming 6-lobe fasteners are released into production environments.
