#1292 EXTRA (TXP) TAMPER RESISTANT NO-GO FALLAWAY GAGE
The Universal Punch #1292 EXTRA (TXP) Tamper Resistant NO-GO Fallaway Gage is designed for manufacturing and receiving inspection of internal hexalobular Plus (TXP) tamper-resistant drive recess fasteners.
Manufactured in accordance with NIQ-612 and CIQ-612 standard references, this precision NO-GO inspection gage provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable method for verifying that internal TXP tamper-resistant recesses do not exceed maximum allowable dimensional limits.
The fallaway NO-GO configuration is specifically engineered to ensure that improperly oversized or out-of-tolerance recesses are quickly identified during production or incoming inspection processes. This prevents improper driver engagement and reduces the risk of torque transfer failure in tamper-resistant fastener assemblies.
Universal Punch gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear resistance in demanding manufacturing environments. All probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
SPC-compatible digital indicator systems are available for integration into statistical process control inspection programs.
