The Universal Punch #1290 EXTRA (TXP) Tamper Resistant Penetration Gage is engineered for manufacturing inspection of internal hexalobular Plus (TXP) tamper-resistant drive recess fasteners.

Manufactured in accordance with NIQ-611 and CIQ-611 standard references, this precision penetration gage provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable method for verifying functional engagement depth of internal TXP tamper-resistant recesses during in-process manufacturing inspection.

Designed to confirm proper driver engagement capability, the gage ensures that recess geometry meets minimum functional dimensional requirements required for secure torque transfer and assembly performance.

Universal Punch gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear resistance in demanding production environments. All probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

SPC-compatible digital indicator systems are available for integration into statistical process control environments where required.
