#1284 EXTRA (TXP) PRODUCTION GO NO-GO GAGE
The Universal Punch #1284 EXTRA (TXP) Production GO / NO-GO Gage is designed for manufacturing inspection of internal hexalobular Plus (TXP) drive recess fasteners.
Manufactured in accordance with CIQ-804.1 and CIQ-804.2 standard references, this dual-element GO / NO-GO inspection gage provides a fast and repeatable method for verifying internal recess dimensional compliance during production. The GO element confirms that the recess meets minimum functional engagement requirements, while the NO-GO element verifies that the internal drive geometry does not exceed maximum allowable dimensional tolerances.
This production-ready inspection method helps ensure proper torque transfer performance by preventing the acceptance of undersized or oversized recess features that may lead to assembly failure or installation inefficiencies.
Universal Punch gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear resistance. All probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
SPC-compatible digital indicator systems are available for integration into statistical process control environments.
