#1282 EXTRA (TXP) NO-GO FALLAWAY GAGE

The Universal Punch #1282 EXTRA (TXP) NO-GO Fallaway Gage is designed for manufacturing and receiving inspection of internal hexalobular Plus (TXP) drive recess fasteners.

Manufactured in accordance with NIQ-812 and CIQ-812 standard references, this NO-GO fallaway inspection gage provides a reliable and repeatable method for verifying that internal drive recesses do not exceed maximum dimensional tolerances. The fallaway-style NO-GO element is engineered to prevent acceptance of oversized or improperly formed recess features that could compromise torque transfer performance during assembly operations.

If the NO-GO element engages beyond allowable limits, the fastener is considered nonconforming. This inspection method helps ensure proper tool engagement and prevents installation failures caused by recess deformation or dimensional variation.

Universal Punch gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear resistance. All probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

SPC-compatible digital indicator systems are available for integration into statistical process control environments.
