The #12000 External 3-Point™ Thread Gage System is a self-aligning external thread measurement platform designed for accurate, repeatable inspection of threaded fasteners.

The 3-Point™ gage frame features a self-contained alignment system that eliminates the need for setting templates or micrometers to achieve proper 120 degree spacing. The design reduces inspection space and eliminates the need for multiple frame systems required by conventional gaging platforms.

The system provides precise measurement of external thread characteristics using interchangeable gage roll sets.

The lower rolls are mounted in a fixed position to support the workpiece. The upper roll arm assembly exerts a consistent measuring force and actuates the indicator to provide accurate, repeatable readings.

GAGE RANGE

Two adjustable frames cover a wide external thread range:

12000-1 Frame

#4 (3 mm) to 3/4 inch (20 mm)

12000-2 Frame

13/16 inch (22 mm) to 1-1/2 inch (40 mm)

GAGE DURABILITY

SPC COMPATIBILITY

Universal gages provide an ideal system for digital data collection.

Adjustments can be made at the machine before scrap is created, improving productivity and reducing quality defects.

EXTERNAL GAGE ROLLERS
