#1194 HEXALOBULAR PRODUCTION GO NO-GO GAGE
The Universal Punch #1194 Hexalobular Production GO / NO-GO Gage is designed for functional acceptance and rejection inspection of internal hexalobular recess fasteners in production and receiving inspection environments.
Manufactured in accordance with IFI 562, ISO 10664 3.3.1, and JIS B1015:2008 standards, this GO / NO-GO production inspection gage provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable method of verifying internal recess drive geometry for proper torque transfer capability and dimensional conformity.
This dual-element gaging system allows manufacturers to confirm both minimum and maximum allowable internal recess limits during production, ensuring that fasteners meet required dimensional tolerances prior to assembly. The GO feature verifies acceptable recess engagement while the NO-GO feature detects oversize conditions that may result in compromised drive performance.
Universal Punch gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear resistance in harsh manufacturing environments. All probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
