#1192 HEXALOBULAR NO-GO FALLAWAY GAGE
The Universal Punch #1192 Hexalobular NO-GO Fallaway Gage is designed for functional rejection inspection of internal hexalobular recess fasteners in production and receiving inspection environments.
Manufactured in accordance with IFI 562, ISO 10664 3.3.1, and JIS B1015:2008 standards, this NO-GO fallaway inspection gage provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable means of verifying maximum internal recess limits to prevent out-of-tolerance drive geometries from entering the assembly process.
The fallaway-style gaging system is used to confirm that internal recess dimensions do not exceed allowable tolerance limits which may compromise torque transfer capability or fastener integrity. This gage is ideal for production-line quality control, receiving inspection, and SPC-monitored verification processes.
Universal Punch gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear resistance in harsh manufacturing environments. All probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
SPC-compatible digital indicator configurations are available upon request.
