The Universal Punch #1185 6-Lobe (TX) Final Inspection Gage is designed for receiving inspection and final verification of internal hexalobular (TX) recess head screws in production environments.

Manufactured in accordance with TMQ-811, TMF-811, TXF-811, and TXQ-811 standards, this inspection gage provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable method for verifying internal recess drive geometry prior to assembly or shipment.

Universal Punch 6-Lobe Final Inspection Gages are engineered for use in high-volume manufacturing and quality control departments where reliable confirmation of recess size and functional engagement is critical to torque transfer performance and product conformity.

All gage probes are heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated to provide additional hardness for maximum wear life. Probe elements are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

SPC-compatible digital indicator configurations are available upon request.
