#1184 (TX) 6-Lobe GO NO-GO Gages

The Universal Punch #1184 Series 6-Lobe (TX) GO NO-GO Gage is designed for precision inspection of internal hexalobular recess drives used in high-performance fasteners manufactured to ISO 10664 standards.

This inspection gage provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable method for verifying proper recess geometry to ensure acceptable driver engagement and torque transmission characteristics in finished fastener components. By utilizing GO and NO-GO functional evaluation of recess drive profiles, manufacturers can detect deviations that may lead to premature cam-out, reduced torque transfer capability, or accelerated driver wear.

Each gage probe is heat treated, thermally stabilized, and surface treated for maximum durability in demanding production environments. All probes are calibrated to specified dimensional tolerances and are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.).

The #1184 Series supports inspection of internal 6-lobe (TX) recess drives ranging from T4 through T100 and is compatible with both inch and metric dial indicators, including SPC-compatible digital indicators for process monitoring and data acquisition.

Tamper-proof style configurations are available for sizes #6 through #45.
