9500 Series TIR / Runout Fastener Recess Checker Gages

Precision inspection system for measuring internal and external fastener drive misalignment and runout.

The Universal Punch 9500 Series Fastener Recess Checker Gage has been specifically designed to measure Total Indicator Runout (T.I.R.) and misalignment in both internal and external fastener drives. This inspection system provides a fast, accurate, and repeatable method for evaluating fastener recess runout without the use of collets.

The single-element probe utilizes a carrier with an electronic indicator to inspect a wide range of fastener drive recesses from #4 / M2 through 1/2" / M12. An optional External Drive Checker attachment is available for inspection of external drives and applications requiring larger motions of travel, such as across flats or across corners of hexagonal fasteners.

By mounting an electronic digital indicator, SPC data can be directly obtained and downloaded to most data collection systems for quality assurance and process control.

FOR MEASURING FASTENER DRIVES (ANSI / ASME, DIN, JIS, & ISO STANDARDS)

Production-Ready Recess & Drive Verification

Universal Punch recess and penetration gaging systems are engineered for inspection of internal and external fastener drive systems directly at the point of manufacture. These systems provide fast, repeatable inspection of drive geometry, penetration depth, and runout to maintain torque transfer performance and ensure production compliance with international standards.
